When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

BHSMA is concerned with protecting your privacy and data, but we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to BHSMA may not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of any of our industry standard physical, technical or managerial safeguards. In the event that personal information is compromised as a breach of security, BHSMA will promptly notify our customers in compliance with applicable law.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register as a member on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile and display contact information on the websites “member directory” page. All users can request to see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
The Data is kept for the time necessary to provide the service requested by the User, or stated by the purposes outlined in this document, and the User can always request that the Data Controller suspend or remove the data.
